iT’Z Pizza! Family Fun! Group Fun
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of iT'Z Pizza. I was given a free family visit including buffet and a $10 game card in exchange for my post and social media recognition.
YEEE HAAAA!!!
We loved our visit to iT’Z Pizza!
Group Bowling parties are SUPER Fun! The price is very reasonable and all the kids had a great time! They even have food you can order at the bowling alley and it is SO yummy! Adult Group Parties are also very successful at iT’Z Pizza! Call a location near you for pricing and package information!
Arcade Games!
This is certainly the place to earn tickets and play awesome games with your kids! They all had a BLAST playing games! Winning tickets and prizes was “Super cool!”
IT’Z also offers Laser Tag, Bumper Cars and a challenging Rock Climbing Wall! You won’t want to miss it!
One recommendation is to make sure you check the web site for specials as you can save $$ on certain sale days.
Family Cost? Plan to spend about $100 for a family of 4-5. That cost is if you wish to participate in all the activities and play the arcade games. If you are VERY frugal and limit your activities you can probably do it for under $60.
Check out this link for BIRTHDAY PARTY PRICING! Please make sure to contact the location nearest you.
How is the food? The food in inexpensive and abundant, however, I would ask for a freshly made pizza for your family and make good use of the excellent salad, soup and potato bar! There are even hot dogs and ramen noodles for your really picky kids! They do have some dessert items, but go in knowing that if your kid loves ice-cream, avoid the main entrance to the arcade because the ice cream is an additional cost! I tend to budget higher than I usually need for this location in case we decide we want to stay and play longer, always budget a bit more! Enjoy all day and all-you-can eat food!
You enter, push the start button, work your way through the maze, and hit the button on the other side! It times you and you can compete against others if you like!
How about the cleanliness? You can imagine at an all you can eat place there is ALOT of clean up going on.
~The Dining rooms are kept up very well by the employees. They clean up rather quickly usually, and if you notice a spill or a table that needs to be “bussed,” find an employee and they are quick to act.
~The game area and activity areas are very clean with trash cleaned up regularly. The bowling alley is exceptional and my favorite place at IT’Z.
~The restrooms however are usually in need of attention. Do not send your kid in there with out you for the first time. Go in ahead and with them and check for cleanliness and toilet paper. Both times we visited there we needed to ask for toilet paper and cleaning of the restroom, this was especially a problem in the family restrooms. The main restroom had one or two stalls that were acceptable, however, the family restrooms remained dirty and unstocked the entire evening! I hope this changes as more of us kindly ask the employees to clean it up each time we visit.
Recommended for? Bowling for your entire family! Game room and activities? Not convenient for children under age of 5-6, there is a lot going on, they will think they love it, however, most of the games and activities are for school age kids and teenagers. I would recommend this as family friendly and a very enjoyable place to play. It is a big place, so you do need to keep an eye on your little ones if you choose to take them. Once they are old enough to find their way around and have a meeting place it is much more fun! I believe you will find this a very entertaining indoor fun for your family!
Prizes? Of course, who doesn’t want to go home with a “Free” prize! They offer a larger variety of prizes and ticket ranges. Prizes seem to be very high priced for the items I would consider as something we would keep for longer than a week or two. Most items under 500 pts are toys that will not be valued by your child for very long. These are the toys we parents know that get “lost” in the toy box quickly, or we find them in our next round of de-cluttering and ship them off to the local thrift store or garbage dump…so, here again, go in with your child, help them find something fun and useful! I allow them to pick out candy if the selection for their prize range is limited. We then allow them to enjoy a piece or two that day, save the rest for prizes for good school work or tasks completed around the house!
Galveston: Tall Ship Elissa and Harbor Tour and the Texas Seaport Museum
We recently had a GREAT time visiting in Galveston, Texas. We were able to go in mid-October and the water was still quite warm for swimming! The weather was perfect to enjoy all the outdoor activities on the island. I highly recommend you plan a trip in the Fall or late Spring before the crowds arrive.
There are quite a few fun and educational activities to do on the island. I will highlight a few of our favorite activities and recommend a few others we have just not had time to do yet.
While the Seawall side of the island is a lot of fun with Pleasure Pier and a warm sandy beach, don’t forget to plan a visit to the harbor side of the island.
If you head to Pier 21/22 at Harborside Drive, you will find the Tall Ship Elissa, the Harbor Tours, and the Texas Seaport Museum! There are also some very tasty and nice restaurants in the area. The Strand is just a short walk away as well. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting and participating in all these wonderful educational and fun activities!
Our Harbor Tour boat ride was a highlight of our visit. Captain Wes and Junior helped to make the tour very entertaining as well as educational. We were able to see quite a few dolphins on the tour as well…however, as Captain Wes pointed out, catching them on camera proved to be very difficult! (hint…look behind the shrimp boats!)
Check out their special Haunted Harbor Tours in October!

An interesting note regarding the Tall Ship Elissa, all three of the Spanish Ships that sailed to the America’s could fit inside the Tall Ship Elissa! Imagine traveling SO far in such a small ship!
