Earth Treks Climbing Center is the Denver area’s newest climbing gym and the largest in Colorado! With 28,500 sq ft of climbing on walls up to 48 ft high, you’ll find the family fun and challenges never ending. Introductory programs are available for all ages. Kids programs include climbing clubs and teams, birthday parties, special events for youth groups, camps, and much more. Our teaching areas offer private spaces for classes, parties, and special events with climbing walls designed for kids and beginners.

Open Climb is a great way to come in and try out climbing. You don’t need reservations, it’s perfect for all ages, and no experience is necessary. Just come to the gym on a Saturday or Sunday. The open climb pass includes 3 climbs, a harness rental, and an Earth Treks instructor to lead your climbing experience. Three climbs will give you a great taste of climbing, but if you enjoyed them so much you want to try more that day, they’re just $5 each. Camp Sessions (see below for more details on each session): * Session 1: Fossils and Fun, June 2nd-6th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 6-10)
* Session 2: Junior Geologists, June 9th-13th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 8-12)
* Session 3: Junior Paleontologists, June 16th-20th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 8-12)
* Session 4: Fossils and Fun, June 23rd-27th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 6-10)
* Session 5: Fossils and Fun, July 7th-11th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 6-10)
* Session 6: Junior Geologists, July 14th-18th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 8-12)
* Session 7: Junior Paleontologists, July 21st-25th, 9am-3pm daily (ages 8-12)
* Session 8: Fossils and Fun, July 28th-Aug 1st, 9am-3pm daily (ages 6-10)

Types of Camp:
* Fossils and Fun Camp: This camp is a great introduction to the geology, paleontology, and ecology of Dinosaur Ridge and the surrounding areas. Hands-on activities will help campers learn about the ancient environments, landscapes, and the animals of Colorado’s prehistoric Front Range. Campers will have the chance to explore, measure, draw, observe, and interact with the geology and fossils of the area and explore science like never before among 150 million year old fossils. Ages 6-10.

* Junior Paleontologists Camp: This camp focuses primarily on the fossils that are found in and around the Morrison and Golden Fossil Areas. Your campers will explore, observe, map, draw, and measure dinosaur bones and tracks, fossil palm fronds and other plant impressions, and a plethora of other local fossils and prehistoric evidence to learn more about prehistoric Colorado. Hands-on activities will help them visualize and experience paleontology in a way they never have before! Ages 8-12.
* Junior Geologists Camp: This camp will focus on the local rocks and formations of Colorado’s Front Range, as well as what we can learn from rocks and minerals. With interactives and hands-on activities, campers will get a chance to explore, experiment, observe, measure, collect and even mine rocks and minerals to help them visualize and learn about Earth materials. Ages 8-12.
