This activity varies in cost so make sure you check the prices before you commit to purchase. Your kids actually begin to learn a bit about mining and panning while doing this entertaining activity! I recommend using the identification brochure provided by Dinosaur Ridge and take the time to try to identify the gems or fossils you collect during this activity. Pretty amazing when your preschooler can identify and ammonite correctly!
